Detroit-based Metal project, Riding With Killers, just unleashed their debut album, Full Circle. A 12-track ride that comes fully equipped with powerful vocal flows, ripping instrumentals, and spot-on production work, this is an anthemic set of tracks that any fan of the genre will enjoy. What a release!
Boasting an infectious energy that hits from the first note and stays until the last, this is a heavy-handed release that pulls from elements of metalcore, alternative, nu metal, and hard rock. One thing that immediately stood out to us was how dynamic of a release this is. The blend of styles under the heavy umbrella delivers a sound to listeners that feels both nostalgic while at the same time new.
Each track on this album flows seamlessly into the next. This is a big reason why the album feels so complete and full. Full Circle takes you on quite the wild ride, and by the time it's done, you'll find yourself wanting to hear more. That's not an easy feat to accomplish, and it's the best reaction you can hope for with a debut.
