L.A.-based band, Odd Army, just dropped their kick-ass debut album, Chrysalis, Become!. Boasting an infectious blend of indie, alt, 90's rock, punk, garage rock, and straight-up rock n roll, this is a dynamic new release that'll leave you firing on all cylinders and ready for more. What a release!
The 10-track ride comes fully equipped with powerful vocal flows, ripping instrumentals, and spot-on production work. Serving as an impressive display of songwriting, Chrysalis, Become! is a creatively crafted piece that feels very full. Each track seamlessly transitions into the next, and the overall vibe of the album feels as though it can almost be touched. The band shines brightly by delivering such an infectious and refreshing set of songs.
It's wild to think that this is their debut album. It's so evident that they've found "their sound". We're not sure what the band has planned next, but we can't wait to see what kind of attention this album brings them. It can be hard to keep momentum going through an entire album, especially a debut, but Odd Army has pulled it off and this will be doubt be put on the radar for fans of the genre.
