U.K.-based band, OCEXNS, recently dropped their catchy new single, "Headstrong". Boasting an infectious energy that hits you from the first note and stays until the last, this is a bright and poppy indie/alt-rock jam that any fan of the genre will enjoy.
A powerful vocal performance is boosted by ripping instrumentals, unique transitions, big hooks, and spot-on production work. The band shines here by being able to deliver a sound that feels nostalgic while at the same time new. That's not an easy thing to accomplish, and it really serves as an impressive glimpse into their writing style. By the time this song is over, all you'll want to do is hear more.
