"Shitegeist", the new single from U.K.-based punk band, No Matter, is a fast and in-your-face anthemic ripper of a tune. Boasting a familiar and infectiously catchy skate punk style, we had trouble taking this thing off repeat. The energy from this track is insane! Halfway through writing this feature, I had to stop just so I could grab my skateboard and embarrass myself at the local skatepark.
The band has been busy releasing a string of catchy singles in anticipation of their upcoming album. "Shitegeist" leaves us wanting more, and that's exactly what a single is supposed to do. The band does a great job at highlighting the energy of skate-punk without out sacrificing any quality. This track features melodic vocal flows, a ripping instrumental, and spot-on production. We can't wait to hear what they have coming next.
