Ottawa-based punk outfit, Kingfisher, just released their debut self-titled EP. This is a catchy and anthemic 4 track ride that's full of catchy hooks, heavy instrumentals, unique transitions, and spot-on production. What a debut!
The band shines here by blending familiar elements under the punk rock umbrella with their own style, ultimately leaving us with a refreshing and powerful sound. The vibes behind each track change pretty significantly through the EP, which we love because it leaves you guessing and excited about what comes next. Overall, by the time this thing is done all you want to do is hear more, and that's exactly what an EP is opposed to do.
