Germany-based band, Kesurapan, just unleashed their powerful new EP, Lifeless Shells. The second EP released by the band, this is a three-track banger that takes on quite the wild ride. Fully equipped with melodic instrumentals, an anthemic vocal performance, and dynamic songwriting, this is a killer release that'll leave you ready to smash the replay button once it's over. What a release!
Boasting a unique blend of styles, the band shines here by incorporating elements of metal, alt-rock, post-hardcore, and more. Emotional instrumental work pulls you in from the first track, and from there, you're handed unique transitions, spot-on production work, and clever lyricism. By the time it's over, all you'll want to do is hear more, and that's exactly what an EP is supposed to do.
It's always refreshing to stumble across a band that so clearly possesses the ability to craft a unique sound. We hear nostalgic elements that are reminiscent of some major names in the genre, but Kesurapan is able to creatively craft those with their own style, leaving listeners with a dynamic sound. We're not sure what they have planned next, but we can't wait to see where this EP takes them.
