Norwegian punk trio Freedumb delivers devastation full throttle in their newest single “Sudden Deaf.” This darkly powerful track is driven by melodic and anthemic vocals over aggressive guitar, cool-toned jazzy electric bass, and mightily swinging drums - an overall sound we find intriguingly exclusive.
A double time final chorus with rousing shoutback vocals followed by understated and keenly placed lead guitar is energetic and compelling songwriting. The whole song barrels perilously along like a skilfully commandeered contraband-laden cargo train on the lam through frozen northern tundras. You don’t want to miss this track.
