“The Wake” is the newest release from grunge-rock band Foolproof, hailing from Niagara, Ontario. This track release comes in anticipation of their debut EP set to drop later this year.
“The Wake” has a proto-punk feel with steady drumming, distorted electric guitar, thick bass, and overdriven rock style vocals, akin to femme fatales of rock and early proto-punk, provided by lead singer and guitarist Paige Kopp. It’s definitely a danceable, motivating tune that would be right at home on any workout or otherwise “getting shit done” playlist. We bet this trio has a cool on-stage demeanor their audiences love to see live.
