U.K.-based band, Femur, brings a unique blend of styles together in their new single, "Janky". Boasting an almost unsettling vibe, this track shines brightly due to creative instrumental work, unique transitions, and in-your-face styled production work.
Mellow vocal flows add to the overall eerie style as you're thrown into a wild ride of heavily distorted guitars, crashing drums, and hypnotic bass lines. While rooted in the world of Grunge, there are elements of punk, alt-rock, and noise rock that fluidly weave in and out throughout the 3-and-a-half-minute journey. While this might not be a style for everyone, "Janky" is the raw and anthemic hit that will no doubt gain the band a wave of new fans.
