London based Indie Punk band Femegades recently released their debut EP "Pornsick". An overall impressive release here, "Pornsick" is a 5 track EP that tackles some serious subjects, such as male violence on women, consent and the Big Porn industry. The band let us know that they planned to really make a statement with their first release, and we can tell you that they definitely succeeded in doing that.
A debut release can be tough for any band. One common issue is that the band has not found "their sound" yet. This is not the case with Femegades. The 5 tracks flow together perfectly here, leaving you with a solid and powerful release. By the time the EP is over, you're left wanting more, which is exactly what an EP is supposed to do.
We're not sure what the band has planned next, but we're excited to find out. We added the title track from this release to our Underground Punk playlist on Spotify.
