EP FEATURE: STRANGELIGHT - "THE WORLD NEEDS LAUGHTER"

Oakland-based Alternative/Punk outfit Strangelight has been a constant force recently. 2020 saw the release of their debut full-length album, and the next year was followed by a string of singles. To kick the New Year off right, they got right back at it and delivered a new fiery 4 track banger of an EP titled "The World Needs Laughter".

Rooted in the world of Punk, there are elements of Garage Rock, Indie, Alternative, and even a hint of Post-Hardcore present in this thing. The four tracks mold together perfectly to leave the listener with a fast and in-your-face anthemic ride. We added the title track to our Underground Punk playlist on Spotify.

What's next for the band? Well, we're not sure, but by the time you're done listening to this thing, all you want to do is hear more. That's exactly what an EP is supposed to do! The band has done their job by showing fans what kind of raw aggression they can bring to the table, while also delivering catchy tunes that boast unique transitions, catchy hooks, and spot-on production.
