This Friday 12/6 is the Seventeenth "Sanford Punk Night" at West End Trading Co. in Sanford, FL. That's right.... we've hosted Sanford Punk Night for seventeen consecutive months! Held on the first Friday of every night, Sanford Punk Night is a free monthly event showcasing punk bands from all over US.
This Friday, the Orlando locals, Dial Drive, will be headlining. They'll be joined by Pangolin, Not Cool, and Tom Solo. This is a special show for Dial Drive, as they announced that this will be their last show with their current drummer, AJ Ferrara. Though it sounds like there's a possibility he might fill in on some future shows, the band made an announcement the other day saying that this will be the last opportunity to see them all play together for the foreseeable future.
"Hello world. As some of you know our sexy and incredibly talented drummer AJ has decided to leave Dial Drive. Now this isn’t new news to us, as he let us know months ago, but we figured it’s time to make it public. We’re all still the best of friends, AJ has just decided that he wants to pursue other creative projects. Projects that don’t align with the grind of being in a touring band. You might see him fill in on a future show, or maybe even a future tour, but for now you’ve got 1 chance left." - Dial Drive
