The avid Havoc readers know that we've recently become big fans of Edmonton-based heavy handed pop-punk band Calling All Captains. Their last few releases have been impressive, not just for the songwriting and production quality, but also for the unique blend of elements they blend together under the "punk" umbrella. Their latest single "Wasted" is a perfect example of this.
Soul cutting guitar works drives this track through familiar CAC themes of powerful and heartfelt lyrical work, singalong hooks, and transitions that keep the listener on their toes and hypnotically engaged. This is the latest single from "Slowly Getting Better", their new full-length album that's due on 10/19/21 through Equal Vision Records and Damage Records.
