Baithead from the U.K. just released their debut full-length album, "Baitest Hits". At 11 tracks long, this thing fires on all cylinders, leaving us with a fun, powerful and anthemic release. Elements of Reggae, Punk, Ska and a little Metal all blend together here, giving the band their unique sound.
This is the first release from the band since their 2018 "Can Have, Can Have, Possible?" Reminiscent of some major players in the scene like Sublime, Less Than Jake or Goldfinger, the band shines here by implementing their own style with their influences. While listening to "Baitest Hits", you're taken on quite a journey. Each track boasts impressive vocal and instrumental work, unique transitions, and spot on production. From song to song, you don't know what you'll be getting next. One minute you can be grooving to Reggae, then next you can be rocking out to an in-your-face Ska-Punk tune.
Overall this is a really impressive release from the band, and what a debut! We're not sure what they have planned next, but we can bet that Baithead is a name that will be more well known soon. We added their track "Stone Cold" to our Underground Punk playlist on Spotify. You can stream the album in its entirety below!
