Australian Punk Rock n Rollers, ANNAKYE, brought the heat with their new single, "Wake up Wake up". Featuring a fast and in-your-face punk-inspired instrumental, the track also brings in elements of Garage Rock, Hard Rock, and Grunge. Paired with the impressive songwriting, this makes for a unique and refreshing sound.
Clever lyricism drives the track through unique transitions, big catchy hooks, and anthemic vocal work. The stripped-down style of this track works really well with the band's production. It's clear that ANNAKYE has found "their sound", and honestly we can't wait to hear more of it. We're not sure what the band has planned next, but it looks like they've been busy releasing a string of singles over the last year.
