Milford, CT based Punk band American Thrills just released their new single "Discount Casket". This is a single from the band's second EP "Old Things" that will be out on April 9th through New School Records. We covered their debut EP at the end of last year, and we've been fans ever since. When we heard they had new tunes on the way, our expectations were set, and the band totally delivered!
American Thrills has a bit of a bluesy, folksy, Americana-styled Punk sound, similar to bands like The Gaslight Anthem. Where these guys really shine with "Discount Caskets" is by implementing their own style into the mix, leaving you with a catchy story-based banger that's easily recognized as an American Thrills tune.
