ALLY NICHOLAS RELEASES NEW SINGLE - "BULLETS"

“Bullets” is the poignant new single from up-and-coming NYC alt rock artist Ally Nicholas. The track enters with soft but driving electric guitar and delicate melodic lines cut with subtle hip hop beats. Just as we’re lulled into a melancholy stupor, we’re stunned by a full out metalcore chorus with heavy drums, shimmering effects pedals, and rock vocals. We hear a cool mix between 2000s alt/emo, hip hop, and modern trends with a focus on lyricism regarding mental health issues and interpersonal relationships.

Anyone who has experienced the pull of deep depression or tried to comfort a friend/partner in its clutches will resonate with this song. Lovely, emotive work.
