"Good for Nothing" is the debut single from San Jose-based punk band, No Fucking Good. A 10-track fast and in-your-face banger, this release boasts a raw and anthemic style that's nostalgic while at the same time refreshing. What a debut!
Reminiscent of some major names in the genre like The Bronx or Pennywise, No Fucking Good shines here by blending their influences with their own style, leaving listeners with a dynamic sound. Powerful vocal flows take you on a wild ride from track to track. On the journey, you're handed ripping instrumentals, unique transitions, and spot-on punk rock production. We're not sure what the band has planned next, but we'll be keeping them on our radar.
Walking the fine line between raw and polished is pretty damn hard to do, but No Fucking Good succeeds in doing it. The chaotic vibe that stems from punk rock is abundant in this album, but the production quality isn't sacrificed to achieve it. It's evident that the band has found "their sound", and we're confident that this release will continue to bring them fresh waves of new fans.
