ALBUM FEATURE: NATHANIEL SUTTON - "THE DAYS"
The Days is a new album just released by Nathaniel Sutton. A 16-track ride that takes you through an uplifting and hypnotic journey, this is a killer release that'll serve as an impressive introduction for any first-time listeners. Boasting an inviting blend of indie pop and indie rock, this album brings an infectious energy that'll leave you wanting more. What a release!
Poppy vocal flows are present in each track and float over well-produced instrumentals. Whether it's a softer acoustic track like "The Passenger" or a track with more of a dance-pop sound like "So Cool", the overall writing on this album stands out, and the dynamic mix of styles and energy keeps you engaged from start to finish. Each track flows seamlessly into the next on this album, and that's a big reason why The Days feels so complete. Best enjoyed from start to finish, in order, there are no skips on this release, and every song flows together to create one big anthemic journey. There is an almost cinematic vibe that comes along with this release. Everything feels very intentional, down to the track listing. Sit back, close your eyes, hit play, and see what kind of movie your mind paints while listening to The Days.
It's so refreshing to come across a release that can feel nostalgic while at the same time new. That's no easy feat. We're excited to see what kind of attention this album brings the artist. This is the second album released by Nathaniel Sutton, with their debut coming out in 2023. The Days is a major change in sound from their debut. The way that the artist can walk the line between indie rock and pop is really impressive, and it produces some really catchy and inviting tunes. We're not sure what's next, but we are sure that this is an artist that every fan of the genre should have on their radar.
