Rochester-based band, Into the Light, recently dropped their debut self-titled EP. An anthemic 6-track ride, this is a powerful release that boasts a dynamic blend of styles. Rooted in the world of Hard Rock, the band shines by pulling in elements of Grunge, Alternative Rock, and Metal. What a release!
Each track flows seamlessly into the next here, and that's a big reason why this release feels so complete. While it's only 6 songs, Into the Light hits so hard and takes you on such a wild ride that it feels more like a full album. We will say, however, that by the time this thing is done, all we want to do is hear more. That's exactly what an EP is supposed to do.
It's always refreshing to come across a release that can deliver a unique and powerful sound. Boasting a style that's equal parts nostalgic and new, this set of tracks will no doubt bring the band a fresh wave of new fans. We're not sure what they have planned next, but we can't wait to hear more!
