Re:Selection is an EP released earlier this year by Baton Rouge-based band, Decoy. A three-track wild ride, this is a killer set of tracks that boast raw and energetic metalcore energy. The band shines here by delivering a style that feels nostalgic while at the same time new. What a release!
Coming fully equipped with earth-shattering breakdowns, heavy-handed instrumentals, powerful vocal flows, and spot-on production work, Decoy hits hard from the first note and keeps their energy until the last. Each track flows seamlessly into the next here too, that's why the EP feels so full. Our complaint? We wish we had more! By the time Re:Selection is over, all you'll want to do is hear more. That's exactly what an EP is supposed to do.
