"Midnight Island", the 7 track banger of an album by Vancouver-based Indie Rock/Pop group, Colour Tongues, is an anthemic ride of catchy tracks that deliver an impressive showcase of spot-on songwriting, musicianship, and production. Boasting airy elements of alternative rock that allow each track to dance into the next, the band has succeeded in dropping a poppy set of tunes that are easy to leave on repeat.
While each track stands strong on its own, the unique transitions between the songs create a powerful journey for the listener as you're handed big catchy hooks, melodic instrumental work, and heartfelt lyricism. The band has stayed busy releasing a string of singles in anticipation of the album. We've had this release on our radar for a while now, and we're happy to say that this thing hits even harder than we were hoping for!
