Orlando's own, Abandon the Midwest, have released a new EP today titled "Straight to VHS". We've had the chance to listen to it a few times through, and I'd say this is my favorite release from the band.
"Straight to VHS" is the fourth release from Abandon The Midwest, and the first one to welcome back original guitar player and co-vocalist B.J. Hall. One thing that immediately stands out in this release is the dual vocals between B.J. and other singer/guitar player Matt Harmon. One great example of this can be heard in our personal favorite song from the EP, "Bright Lights".
The band recorded "Straight to VHS" at the Moathouse Recording Studio in Gainesville, FL which is ran by Roger Lima of Less Than Jake. To support the album, they released two music videos which you can check out below.
