U.K.-based punk rockers, Two Tonne Machete, just released their fiery new single, "BLOCKS". Boasting a raw and melodic style, this track features a distorted instrumental, ripping vocal flows, and an infectious punk rock vibe.
Only the second track released by the project, "BLOCKS" served as an awesome introduction to the band's sound. There's a chaos present here, reminiscent of heavier 90's grunge, that's offset by melodic elements and unique transitions. The end result is a refreshing new tune that will 100% amp you up. It's always great to hear a song with this much energy that doesn't sacrifice production value. This is a very real song. The emotions bleed through the heartfelt lyricism and are amplified by the big "fuck you" energy the track emits. We're not sure what the band has planned next, but they should be on everyone's radar if you're a fan of the genre.
