"Sleepy Head", the latest single from Austin, TX-based artist, EVNTYD, is a beautifully crafted indie/punk track that features an impressive blend of styles. Airy vocal work takes this track through an anthemic journey of dancey instrumental work, catchy hooks, and unique transitions.
The stripped-down and pushed-back style in the production on this track blend perfectly with the songwriting and structure to leave us with a refreshing sound. It looks like EVNTYD has been busy releasing a string of singles over the last year or so. We're not sure what they have planned next, but we can't wait to hear more. This is really a hypnotic release. We found ourselves leaving the track on repeat because we couldn't get enough of it.
