London-based alt-rock band, The Silent Era, made quite the splash with their dynamic debut single, "Heavy Cure". Boasting an anthemic blend of styles, this is an impressive introduction to the band's melancholic and melodic sound. What a debut!
Dueling vocal flows keep you engaged as you're gently tossed into a wild ride of airy guitar work, groovy bass lines, punchy drums, and spot-on production work. While the term alt-rock may be the easiest way to describe their style, the band really shines here by implementing elements of grunge, punk, and indie rock with a nostalgic '90s twist. The end result is a refreshing new tune that will no doubt bring the band a fresh wave of new fans. We're not sure what The Silent Era has planned next in their release schedule, but we're definitely excited to hear more!
