London-based Alternative Rock band, The Kid and I, just dropped their latest single, "Fade Away". This is quite the unique track. Boasting an impressive blend of elements under the indie/alternative rock umbrella, the band shines here by crafting a refreshing sound that really makes their style stand out.
You want to dance along to "Fade Away", but at the same time, you're handed a darker and more unsettling vibe, ultimately leaving you feeling conflicted about how to feel about the track. We mean that as a compliment. You'll find yourself smashing repeat once the track is over so you can experience the unique journey all over again.
The Kid and I are a newer project, with the band coming together during the covid lockdown. They seem to have hit the ground running, already releasing a string of catchy singles. We're not sure what they have planned next, but "Fade Away" has left us excited for what's to come.
