That's right, this is just an instrumental, but the band has crafted the song in such a way that it doesn't feel as if anything is missing. The heartbreaking elements of the guitar work serve as an emotional tie to the rest of the impressively played instrumental. The unique transitions and spot-on production work keep you engaged and ready to hear more. Overall, this is an anthemic new release that we just can't seem to get enough of. While this might not be for everyone, The Cookie Jar Complot is bound to receive a fresh new wave of fans for those who can appreciate this style of songwriting.
