Brooklyn-based indie rock band, Superswell, made quite the splash with their debut single, "I Don't Believe It's True". Boasting a familiar yet refreshing sound, the band has succeeded in crafting a catchy new tune that serves as an impressive introduction to their songwriting style.
Reminiscent of some major names in the Indie Rock world. Superswell shines by taking influences and blending them with their own style. The end result is a nostalgic sound that also leaves you wanting to hear more. Poppy vocal flows take flight over a light-hearted and melodic instrumental full of ripping guitars, punchy drums, and groovy bass lines. While we're not sure what the band has planned next, we're excited to hear more. Any fan of the genre will agree that these guys have found "their sound", and this debut will undoubtedly bring the band a fresh wave of recognition.
