Toronto based Indie Punk group Nothing Special just released their new single "New Leaf". This is only the second release from the band, but it's pretty evident that they have found "their sound" here. The track takes you on quite a journey. You're first greeted by ripping guitars that pull you into mellowed out verses highlighted by quality lyricism. Choruses drive this track home, all while the listener is handed impressive instrumental and vocal work, unique transitions, and genre-true production.
We're not sure what Nothing Special has planned next, but we are hoping that these singles (including their 2020 release "Brandi") are hinting at the release of an upcoming EP or Album. There's a lot of potential heard in this track, and it's pretty clear that, with the right direction, these guys will be a name a lot more people will know soon.
