NEW TUNES DISCOVERED VOL. 1

Updated: Aug 1, 2020

We're pumped to be starting a new weekly blog series called "New Tunes Discovered". At Havoc Underground, we're fortunate enough to receive a lot of music submission every day. So once a week, we'll be compiling some of our favorites into a playlist for our readers to enjoy. So... ENJOY!

JunkBunny - Another Summer Song

JunkBunny is an Alternative Pop Punk band from Texas. Their newest track, Another Summer Song, is a great tune with very catchy choruses and a heavy bridge. This song is also featured on our UNDERGROUND PUNK Spotify playlist.

Blindboss - Fake Internet Points

Fake Internet Points by Blindboss is a very unique track, paired with a really cool music video. Creepy instrumentals, yet still upbeat, this is a track you should not sleep on.

Deaf Autumn - A Reason to Stay

Turning into the heavier side of things, we were really happy to hear this track from Deaf Autumn. The song is catchy from the get go, but by the time the full bands comes in. Paired with an incredibly anthemic and catchy chorus, this is a song that will make you want to move. We also shared this song on our HEAVY HEAVY HEAVY Spotify playlist.

Anchor The Appetite - Change

Sticking within the world of Hardcore, we bring you Anchor The Appetite. Their song, Change, starts slow, but once the chorus hits you'll be happy you continued listening. Make sure you listen to the bridge/breakdown!

Hotknives - I Want Your Bones

"I Want Your Bones" by Hotknives hits especially hard. Starting with a soothing, yet eerie intro, the song then picks up and immediately draws you in. Screamed and aggressive verses are followed with anthemic and catchy choruses. We also shared this track on our HEAVY HEAVY HEAVY Spotify Playlist.

Titans - None for All

None for All by Titans is such a great track because it grips you from the first second. With a cool and heavy guitar riff to start off the song, you know exactly what you're in for. Plus, the bridge/breakdown is sick!

Once Awake - Fold

The most "radio" sounding songs of the bunch, we selected "Fold" by Norwegian metal band Once Awake because of overall progression of the song. At times lighter, at times heavier, at times sang, at times screamed, the band did a great job and blending different aspects of metal into one track. Make sure to wait for the breakdown!

Kyphosis - Blind

Ending on a very heavy note here. Hardcore band Kyphosis made an extremely heavy and epic anthem song creating "Blind". This is also the first release from the band, and it definitely leaves you wanting more.

If you like what you hear, make sure to follow these bands and check out the rest of their music!
