For those who don't know, there's a band that has been a driving force in the revival of 80's style Rock. Blending in heavy elements of Synthwave and modern production, the band has spent that last couple of years releasing heartfelt and powerful singles. That band is U.K. based duo LeBrock.
We've been aware of these guys since their hit single "Call Me" blew up from their 2016 album "Action & Romance". Since then, they've been on heavy rotation in our personal playlists, as well as our reader-curated playlists. When we heard new music was on the way, we were beyond ecstatic. We had the opportunity to listen to "Heartstrings" a few weeks before release day, and to no surprise, it was everything we had hoped for and more.
In classic LeBrock fashion, the track features an array of anthemic instrumentals, backed by an army of synth melodies and catchy vocal work, all blending together to leave you with a track that literally pulls at your heartstrings (clever)! We're not sure what the duo has planned next, but we can't wait for more. Hopefully, we can catch these guys at a live show if they make it over the States!
