U.K.-based band, The Trusted, recently released their new EP, Lost Soul. A beautiflly crafted 5-track ride, this is a powerful release that's full of impressive songwriting. Capturing a dynamic sound that'll guarantee you listen to the release more than love, the band shines by being able to deliver a sound that feels refreshing while at the same time nostalgic.
From the first track, it's obvious that the release is going to hit. Soft and hypnotic vocal work is consistently boosted by ripping instrumentals, unique transitions keep you engaged from start to finish, and spot-on production work solidifies the electric sound. Each track also flows seamlessly into the next, and that's a big reason why this release feels so full.
The band has been staying busy steadily releasing music over the last year. We're not sure what they have planned next, but Lost Soul left such a deep impression that we're very excited to find out. That's EXACTLY what an EP is supposed to do! The band has succeeded in releasing a string of tracks that show off their writing skills and will hopefully continue to bring them the tidal wave of attention that they deserve.
