ALBUM FEATURE: COMA BEACH - "THE SCAPEGOAT'S AGONY"

It's been close to two years single the German punk group, Coma Beach, dropped their debut album, The Scapegoat's Agony. A 13-track raw and wild ride, this is an anthemic set of songs that any fan of the genre will enjoy. Our only complaint is that we're just hearing it for the first time now!

Gritty vocal work coats each track as you're handed ripping instrumentals and spot-on garage/punk-styled production. Each track moves easily into the next, crafting a seamless transition through the fast and in-your-face journey. Reminiscent of some of the older and OG bands of the genre, Coma Beach shines here by pulling from their influences and molding them with their own style. The end result is a nostalgic yet refreshing release that leaves you wanting to hear more.

While we're not sure what the band has planned next, this album will serve as an impressive introduction to their sound. You can stream the album in its entirety below. We also added our personal favorite, "Nothing Right" to our Underground Punk playlist on Spotify. If you like what you hear, make sure to follow Coma Beach to stay on top of what else they have going on. Enjoy!
